By becoming a member of involve Yorkshire & Humber, your organisation will be part of a powerful network.

You will:

  • further the direction of Involve Yorkshire & Humber itself, including the right to elect our trustees.

You will be part of a strong, connected, informed and influential voice for the voluntary and community sector in Yorkshire and the Humber.

 Membership year

Membership runs for one year from the date we receive your completed application form and membership fee.

Membership categories

There are two ways to join Involve Yorkshire & Humber – full membership or as a Friend

Full Membership

Full members receive the full information service including exclusive access to the member’s e-groups, discounted fees at involve Yorkshire & Humber events and a vote at the AGM.

Full membership is open to voluntary and community organisations providing a service within Yorkshire and the Humber and falling into one or more of the following categories:

  • Yorkshire & the Humber voluntary or community organisation

  • Voluntary or community organisation providing an umbrella or intermediary role and support to other voluntary and community organisations

  • Voluntary and community organisation providing services to other voluntary organisations in Yorkshire & the Humber

  • Yorkshire & the Humber branch of national voluntary or community organisations

  • Federation or group of voluntary or community organisations

  • Local voluntary organisation playing a key role in co-ordination between voluntary/community organisations

The Annual Fee is £55, or £15 with an approved bursary application (see below).

Friends of Involve Yorkshire & Humber

Many organisations and individuals support the aims of Involve Yorkshire & Humber but are not eligible for Full Membership.  By becoming a Friend you can show your support and qualify for a range of benefits.

Friends receive the full information service, discounted fees at Involve Yorkshire & Humber events and are invited to the AGM, but have no voting rights.

This category of membership is open to all other voluntary and/or community groups, statutory organisations, local authority hosted partnerships, individuals, consultants, businesses, societies, associations working with voluntary/community organisations and other bodies which support the aims of Involve Yorkshire & Humber.

The Annual Fee is £55 for voluntary/community organisations, or £15 with an approved bursary application (See below). If you are not a voluntary/community organisation, the Annual Fee is £110.

Bursary Applications

Bursaries are available to voluntary and community organisations with an income of less than £20,000 per annum or have no paid staff. You can download the Bursary Application form here.
