New Apprenticeship Ambassador for the voluntary sector
Amanda Vickers, Involve Yorkshire & Humber Development Manager, has just become an Apprenticeships Ambassador for Leeds Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). Amanda is the Ambassador for the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector. 
Her role involves promoting the benefits of Apprenticeships to VCSE employers and other stakeholders, through speaking at events, finding good case studies about Apprentices in the sector and hosting VIP and Ministerial visits. Most of the other Ambassadors are from large private sector companies, but we share an understanding of the value of Apprenticeships for business and for young people.
The network of Apprenticeship Ambassadors has been set up by the National Apprenticeship Service, working with Leeds LEP.
