New third sector apprenticeships funding announced

The National Apprenticeships Service has approved new advanced apprenticeships in campaigning, fundraising and volunteer management for funding by the Skills Funding Agency.

Third Sector Apprenticeships are brand new training programmes specifically designed for charities and social enterprises to help them make a difference to people and communities. They develop practical skills in three key areas – campaigning, fundraising and volunteer management.

Skills - Third Sector, together with people who work in the third sector, have developed three Apprenticeships specifically for charities and social enterprises as training programmes tailored to meet the needs of your organisation.

Organisations interested in recruiting apprentices in the new framework can contact Ellen Ryan, of Fair Train, who are delivering the new qualifications.

Involve Yorkshire & Humber Development Manager Amanda Vickers is Apprenticeships Ambassador for the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector for Leeds Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).
