Our work

With our unrivalled reach into around 15,000 voluntary and community sector organisations in Yorkshire and Humber, we are a bridge between national decision makers and the people delivering change on the ground.

Involve supports voluntary and community organisations in Yorkshire and Humber working across a huge variety of areas. We also have expertise in some particular areas where we undertake specific policy work. Follow the links below or on the left hand navigation to read in detail about our work in specialist areas.

Health and social care

Involve Yorkshire & Humber champions the work of voluntary and community organisations to improve health, well-being and care.

Yorkshire & Humber Rural Network

The YHRN seeks to strengthen communication and collaboration to support an informed and influential rural VCS voice in Yorkshire and Humber by briefings, research, information and networking and gathering evidence of the special needs and issues facing rural VCS groups.

Learning and skills

Involve Yorkshire & Humber plays a leading role for charities and voluntary sector organisations in the learning and skills field. We are a source of information, consult on policy development and promote the benefits of adult learning.

The voluntary and community sector

Policy: influencing decision makers

Involve Yorkshire & Humber seeks to influence policy that has an effect on the voluntary and community sector and on the lives of the people and communities the sector works with.

Collaboration with other sectors

As well as working with the voluntary and community sectors, Involve collaborates with the private and public sectors to create a strong and fair society in Yorkshire and the Humber.
