Who's Who in Health?

NHS reform and the voluntary and community sector in Yorkshire & the Humber

Thursday 28 February 2013 (10.00-12.30)
Northern Ballet, Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7PA

Who's Who in Health? is an updated form of the Healthy Changes? seminar run in 2011, and focuses on the changes being brought in through the NHS reforms and what this means for voluntary and community groups.

The Government’s NHS reforms are the most dramatic since the NHS was formed in the 1940s and will have significant effects for the voluntary and community sector (VCS) and the communities we serve – both in terms of service provision and more broadly.

Is it an opportunity for the VCS to strengthen its role in promoting better health and wellbeing, or simply a move to dilute and privatise the NHS?

This seminar will equip delegates with up to date information about dramatic NHS reforms and how the voluntary and community sector can get involved. It is an essential event for any voluntary and community organisation with a role in improving health and wellbeing, as well as other groups and organisations working within health and social care.
