September 28 2011

Involve Yorkshire & Humber has published a new report - Rural lifelines, which shows how the voluntary and community sector reaches out to the most disdvantaged residents. Rural lifelines report front cover

The report, which includes numerous real case studies, brings home the reality of hidden but very real hardship in some of our most rural communities, and the vital support role played by voluntary and community organisations. It carries extremely important messages for service providers.

Rural lifelines was written in partnership with the Yorkshire Rural Support Network, Rural Action Yorkshire, and Humber & Wolds Rural Community Council.
