Annual lecture

We organise an annual Involve Yorkshire & Humber lecture, to stimulate and promote ideas and debate on issues relating to the voluntary and community sector.

Our 2013 lecture Poverty and a 21st century welfare system was delivered by Jonathan Bradshaw, Professor of Social Policy at University of York. Tweet him at: @ProfJBradshaw

Our 2012 lecture Vital Statistics: what the numbers say about Yorkshire & Humber, was delivered by Jil Matheson, the National Statistician. You can read a blog on the lecture and download the slides Jil used.
